KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis

• Lead and manage the annual budgeting and financial planning process in collaboration with Management and relevant departments.

• Prepare financial forecasts and conduct regular budget-to-actual and variance analysis.

• Monitor business performance, costs and profitability against approved budgets and targets.

• Provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to Management to support business decisions, resource allocation and investment planning.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, operational efficiency and profitability improvement.

• Proactively monitor financial performance and highlight potential risks, opportunities and areas requiring management attention.

2. Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee the Company's accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger and payroll-related accounting entries.

• Ensure accounting transactions are complete, accurate and recorded in accordance with Company policies and applicable accounting standards.

• Review accounting records and reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

• Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

• Drive improvements in accounting processes, systems and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy and internal controls.

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.

• Analyse financial results and key performance indicators and provide clear commentary and insights to Management.

• Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely and provide a reliable basis for business decision-making.

• Support Management in understanding financial performance, trends and key business drivers.

4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor the Company's cash flow position and liquidity requirements to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.

• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and identify potential funding or liquidity requirements.

• Monitor working capital and support initiatives to improve cash flow and working capital efficiency.

• Work closely with relevant departments to manage cash collection, payments and other working capital matters.

5. Compliance, Risk & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and financial reporting regulations.

• Establish, maintain and review effective internal controls to safeguard Company assets and minimise financial and operational risks.

• Monitor compliance with Company financial policies, procedures and approval processes.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and other financial stakeholders.

• Maintain strong cost control and ensure expenditure is aligned with approved budgets, business plans and profitability targets.

6. Business Partnering & Strategic Support

• Partner with senior Management and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.

• Provide financial evaluation and analysis for new business opportunities, investments, projects and key commercial decisions.

• Assess financial risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to Management.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Company's long-term financial strategies.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, systems and management information.

7. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise and develop the Finance team to ensure effective and timely delivery of finance operations.

• Set clear objectives and expectations for team members and monitor performance.

• Provide coaching, guidance and training to strengthen the team's technical capabilities and professional development.

• Foster a collaborative, accountable and continuous-improvement culture within the Finance team.

• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties, workload allocation and operational coverage within the team.

8. Other Responsibilities

• Participate in Management meetings and provide financial information and advice where required.

• Support other business or finance-related projects as assigned by the Head of Finance or Management.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA is preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

• Strong understanding of internal controls, financial processes and regulatory requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and analysis.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Management, internal stakeholders and external parties.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop team members.

• Proactive, commercially minded and results-oriented, with a strong focus on cost control and profitability.

• Experience in the food and beverage industry or a similar fast-moving business environment will be an advantage.



Mon - Fri (830am - 545pm), Alternate Saturday: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
