Finance Manager

JOB PURPOSE

• Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  
• Provide financial insights to management to support decision-making
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Full Set of Accounts

• Manage the full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and fixed assets
  
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g. MFRS)
  
• Prepare financial statements and monthly management reports
  

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
  
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  

3. Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  
• Oversee tax filings and liaise with tax authorities and consultants where required
  

4. Audit & Controls

• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and explanations
  
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and finance processes
  

5. Team Management

• Supervise, guide, and develop the finance team
  
• Ensure tasks are allocated effectively to meet reporting deadlines
  

6. Others

• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and projects as required by management
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or MIA) preferred
  
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance
  
• Hands-on experience handling a full set of accounts
  
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
