## Job Summary
The Manager – Finance (Controllership) plays a crucial role within the finance team, focusing on accounting, taxation, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and business finance. This hands-on position ensures sound financial practices and supports the organization’s objectives through effective financial management.
## Responsibilities
- Manage **GST**, **TDS**, and **Income Tax** compliances, including tax filings, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Drive **month-end**, **quarter-end**, and **year-end** book closures with accuracy and timeliness.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and general ledger reconciliations for financial integrity.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements along with supporting audit schedules.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide financial strategy.
- Ensure compliance with the **Companies Act**, **Registrar of Companies (ROC)** filings, **Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)**, and other statutory requirements.
- Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls as the business scales.
## Qualifications
- **Chartered Accountant (CA)** qualification is required.
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of taxation, financial reporting, compliance, and auditing.
- Proficiency in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools typically used in the industry.
## Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems and other financial management software.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions for financial analysis.
- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
## Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a finance-related role focusing on controllership, taxation, and compliance.
