# Accountant – Finance Manager ## Company Overview (Company overview details not provided.) ## Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented **Finance Manager** with strong **Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)** capabilities to manage financial records while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This hybrid role requires a solid accounting foundation combined with the ability to generate insights that support business decision-making. ## Responsibilities - **Accounting & Financial Operations** - Maintain the general ledger and prepare accurate journal entries. - Perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations. - Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal policies. - **Financial Reporting** - Prepare monthly financial reports and management dashboards. - Support preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). - Provide insights and commentary on financial performance. - **Business Partnering** - Work with cross-functional teams to understand financial performance drivers. - Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and scenario planning. - Present financial insights in a clear, actionable manner. - **Compliance & Audit** - Assist with internal and external audits. - Ensure adherence to tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc., if applicable). - Maintain documentation and strengthen internal controls. - **Process Improvement & Systems** - Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy. - Support ERP and financial system enhancements. - Automate routine reports and streamline workflows. ## Qualifications - **Education & Experience** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3–6 years of experience in accounting and finance. - **Technical Skills** - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas). - Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). - Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. - **Core Competencies** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - High attention to detail with a strategic mindset. - Ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively. - Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. - Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with advanced financial analytics and modeling. - Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards. ## Experience 3–6 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial operations and reporting. ## Environment This position is based in Dickenson Road, Bangalore, and will follow a hybrid work model.
