Finance Manager (SEA)

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager (SEA) to oversee the financial operations of our client in the logistics & supply chain industry. Reporting to the CFO and based in Singapore, this position serves as a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team, providing financial direction that supports commercial objectives and sustainable growth & requires someone with a strong stakeholder management experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial acumen and enjoys working in a dynamic, multinational environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, strengthen financial governance, and drive continuous improvements across the finance function.

Responsibilities:

Finance Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary finance partner to regional business leaders, providing insights that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.

  • Evaluate business performance through financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term business objectives.

  • Translate financial data into meaningful recommendations for senior management.

Financial Operations & Governance

  • Lead the finance and accounting activities across Southeast Asia

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group policies and local statutory requirements.

  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.

  • Maintain a strong internal control framework while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Monitor the effectiveness of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure healthy cash flow and operational efficiency.

  • Drive initiatives to improve cash conversion, optimise working capital, and monitor key performance indicators such as collection cycles and payment terms.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen liquidity management across the cluster.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop finance teams across multiple countries, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

  • Coach and mentor team members to build technical capability and leadership potential.

  • Promote accountability, continuous learning, and a strong business partnering mindset within the finance function.

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Champion finance transformation projects, including process optimisation, digitalisation, and system enhancements.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, standardise financial processes, and improve reporting efficiency.

  • Support regional expansion, business integrations, and other strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is advantageous.

  • Approximately 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including regional responsibilities within Southeast Asia.

  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.

  • Prior experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or another operationally intensive multinational business.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders through commercial and financial insights.

  • Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience leading finance transformation, ERP implementation, or business process improvement initiatives is an advantage.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organisation with a hands-on approach.

  • Willingness to travel within the region when required.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
