Finance Manager (SEA)
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager (SEA) to oversee the financial operations of our client in the logistics & supply chain industry. Reporting to the CFO and based in Singapore, this position serves as a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team, providing financial direction that supports commercial objectives and sustainable growth & requires someone with a strong stakeholder management experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial acumen and enjoys working in a dynamic, multinational environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, strengthen financial governance, and drive continuous improvements across the finance function.
Responsibilities:
Finance Leadership & Business Partnership
Act as the primary finance partner to regional business leaders, providing insights that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
Evaluate business performance through financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term business objectives.
Translate financial data into meaningful recommendations for senior management.
Financial Operations & Governance
Lead the finance and accounting activities across Southeast Asia
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group policies and local statutory requirements.
Oversee the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
Maintain a strong internal control framework while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Cash Flow & Working Capital
Monitor the effectiveness of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure healthy cash flow and operational efficiency.
Drive initiatives to improve cash conversion, optimise working capital, and monitor key performance indicators such as collection cycles and payment terms.
Identify opportunities to strengthen liquidity management across the cluster.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop finance teams across multiple countries, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
Coach and mentor team members to build technical capability and leadership potential.
Promote accountability, continuous learning, and a strong business partnering mindset within the finance function.
Process Improvement & Transformation
Champion finance transformation projects, including process optimisation, digitalisation, and system enhancements.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, standardise financial processes, and improve reporting efficiency.
Support regional expansion, business integrations, and other strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is advantageous.
Approximately 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including regional responsibilities within Southeast Asia.
Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
Prior experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or another operationally intensive multinational business.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders through commercial and financial insights.
Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience leading finance transformation, ERP implementation, or business process improvement initiatives is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organisation with a hands-on approach.
Willingness to travel within the region when required.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
