Finance Manager

Job Description

  • Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis and insights to Management.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of business performance against targets.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, banking matters and foreign currency exposure.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, ageing and product cost/margin analysis.
  • Manage accounts receivable, credit control, customer collections and credit exposure.
  • Ensure timely tax, GST, audit and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls, finance processes and support ERP/automation improvements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, HR and other departments.


Requirement

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with relevant professional qualifications preferred.
  • 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in distribution, trading or consumer electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST, tax and statutory requirements, with experience in financial reporting and audit.
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, inventory and credit control.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and partner effectively with cross-functional teams and Management.
