Role Overview
The Finance Manager will handle the company’s financial health by managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance processes. This individual will work closely with leadership to align financial planning with the company’s strategic direction, ensuring that Spacefinish continues to scale sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts that align with business objectives.
Financial Strategy: Support the leadership team in financial planning, fundraising, and capital structuring decisions.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into company performance, risks, and opportunities.
Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely tax filings, compliance with financial regulations, and liaise with tax authorities (LIRS, FIRS).
Financial Modeling: Develop models to support business planning, cost optimization, and investment decision-making.
Financial Control: Oversee accounting operations, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership: Mentor and manage finance team members to build capacity and accountability.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, CFA) is required.
Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience managing an organization with annual revenue above ₦700 million.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, fundraising, and investment planning.
Experience in industries like construction, real estate, consulting, or design/build is an advantage.
