Finance Manager

The Finance Manager position focused on the Carrix organization will partner directly with senior leaders and finance managers with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for a global company with over $3 billion in annual revenue in the global shipping industry. Qualified candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written skills, attention to detail, a good understanding of corporate financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting concepts, while being an expert in Microsoft Excel and related software and systems. • Manage and complete monthly updates to company-wide Excel financial model using proprietary AS400 accounting system data, Hyperion data, various external reporting packages, and other internal systems.
• Work with finance managers to coordinate periodic budget and forecast updates.
• Provide management with financial information and perform ad-hoc analysis.
• Report quarterly to lenders, providing written analysis of budget variances, financial covenant compliance schedules, and other key financial metrics.
• Assist with updates of internal company material and PowerPoint presentations used in conjunction with financing and equity transactions.
• Work closely with internal team to maintain and continuously improve financial reporting tools.
• Assist in evaluating capital investment decisions and evaluate return on investment.
• Advise senior management on financial impact of various alternatives and recommend preferred course of action.
• Manage relationship with company’s treasury, accounting, and other administrative support groups.
• Partner in maintaining banking relationships including for new and existing debt facilities.
• Prepare financial data for presentation to senior management, board members, and other external partners and key stakeholders.
