Subaru of Georgetown: Automotive Finance Manager

Subaru of Georgetown is seeking a highly experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a seasoned F&I professional who does not just wait in the finance office for paperwork to arrive. The ideal candidate is a proactive deal-maker who actively engages on the showroom floor, utilizing strong desking skills and early customer introductions to structure seamless, profitable, and highly satisfying car deals. Previous dealership F&I experience is absolutely a separator, and bilingual abilities are a significant plus.

Experience & Desking Excellence (include but are not limited to)

  • Leverage extensive prior dealership experience to actively assist in desking deals, structuring terms that maximize both front-end and back-end gross.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the sales desk early in the transaction to accurately calculate payments, evaluate trade structures, and secure swift lender approvals.
  • Nurture deep, productive relationships with existing banks to secure competitive interest rates and versatile financing programs.
  • Maintain an adequate, compliant supply of all required contracts and paperwork to ensure swift, legally sound finalizations.

Early Customer Interaction & Sales Strategy

  • Step out of the finance office to perform early customer introductions on the sales floor, building trust, lowering defenses, and warming up the customer before the formal F&I turnover.
  • Execute highly consultative financial sales via a menu system, perfectly tailoring Vehicle Service Contracts, GAP, and other related products to the customer's unique driving habits and needs.
  • Guarantee exemplary customer service from the initial handshake to the final signature, securing the sale and ensuring a smooth delivery.

Training & Team Mentorship

  • Actively train, coach, and mentor the sales floor on current finance programs, lease options, and the distinct value of extended service and protection programs.
  • Work with sales representatives to improve their turnover techniques and effectively set the stage for F&I products early in the vehicle walkaround.
  • Commit to ongoing continuing education regarding current compliance regulations and laws governing the automotive industry.

Core Qualifications

  • Proven track record in automotive dealership F&I.
  • Exceptional communication skills in person, in writing, and over the telephone.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and compliance.
  • Polished, professional appearance and a highly organized work environment.
  • Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year; must be at least 18 years of age.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Full-time, approximately 50-60 hours a week. Two days off (Sunday and one rotating weekday).
  • Pay: Highly competitive commission plan with expected annual earnings of $200,000+.
