About the Role
Sujimoto Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, lead the finance team, support strategic decision-making, and maintain the organisation’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Lead and manage the finance team.
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate audits and resolve audit findings.
- Implement internal controls, manage financial risks, and improve financial systems and processes.
- Support financial modelling, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning systems.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
