Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
• To perform daily accounting operations, handling full set of accountsincludes GL, AP, AR and Bank Reconciliation / Petty Cash / Staff Claims.
• Prepare payment voucher & online banking payment, liaise withsupplier.
• Responsible for timely maintenance and reconcile account payable, accountreceivable.
• Reconciles the project/department's accounting activities to ensureaccuracy and completeness.
• Issue project invoicing and costing listing. Submit E-invoice and SSTreport.
• Timely monthly reporting to Management.
• Monitoring and updating of bank balances and records, review, compile andreconcile all intercompany payments and collections.
• Responsible for issuing various invoices and filing taxes. Compilation ofrelated vouchers, reports, data, and archive management.
• To support month end, quarterly and year-end financial closing andreporting.
• Responsible to ensure collections from account receivables and debtors arein a timely manner (Credit Control).
• To handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activitiesincluding preparation and processing of month end journals.
• To prepare month-end reconciliations and analysis of general ledgeraccounts, expenses and development expenditure. AR monthly SOA to client.
• Motivate and coach team members, provide support as needed for them togrow in their roles.
• Perform other ad hoc assignment as and when required.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at leastDiploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Professional certification from LCCI/ACCA/CPA is anadded advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Literate in English, Malay and Chinese
• High analytical and good problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and experience in marine industry is an addedadvantage.
• Good interpersonal skills, hands-on and positive workattitude.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office program.
• Team player, proactive, have personal responsibility,and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• SST and Tax declaration knowledge.
