We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and making a positive contribution within a busy and supportive environment.

As a Finance Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring our financial processes run smoothly. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, support reporting activities, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing

• Processing invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Completing reconciliations, including supplier statements, petty cash, and revenue records.
• Supporting financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Maintaining accurate financial information using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Coordinating insurance claim documentation with internal teams and external partners.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen financial controls.
• Providing professional support and guidance on finance-related queries.

About you

You’ll be an organised, proactive, and reliable finance professional with experience in a finance, accounts, or financial administration role. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

You will enjoy working collaboratively, building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and contributing ideas to improve the way we work.
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Experience processing financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with colleagues, suppliers, and external contacts.
  • A commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Desirable: AAT qualification (or equivalent) and experience supporting audits, financial reporting, or process improvements.
