What you’ll own
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Finance Shared Services Analyst with a strong background in Business Process Services (BPS) to support business stakeholders with day-to-day operations.
The role requires execution of SOP-driven processes, working with data and reports across multiple systems, supporting stakeholders in the US and UK. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with reporting tools, databases, and automation solutions while maintaining a strong operational focus.
- Execute daily finance and operational processes as per established SOPs.
- Download, validate, format, reconcile, and distribute reports to business stakeholders.
- Work with data from multiple systems and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables.
- Use Tableau and other reporting tools to analyze, validate, and support business reporting requirements.
- Run SQL queries and work with databases to extract and validate data as needed.
- Understand end-to-end process and data flow between multiple systems and applications.
- Collaborate with business teams to resolve operational and data-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, or automate repetitive tasks using tools such as Power Automate, VBA/Macros, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
- Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in BPS, Shared Services, or Finance Operations environment.
- Experience working with SOP-driven operational processes and reporting activities.
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, report generation, and operational controls.
- Ability to analyze data and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Power Query, data analysis).
- Experience using Tableau/Power BI for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
- Working knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate, VBA/Macros, Python, or similar technologies is an advantage.
