Senior engineer (5+ years) building finance/payment-oriented software in Turkey, centered on Oracle PL/SQL and the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) with microservices, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, and cloud. Also mentors engineers and sets coding and architecture standards.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Preferably experienced in financial systems, payment infrastructures, payment systems, or similar transaction-intensive applications
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages and performance optimization
- Experienced in designing and developing highly scalable and multi-user application architectures
- Experienced in object-oriented software development
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Microservice Architecture and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ
- Experience with distributed cache technologies such as Redis
- Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies
- Experience developing projects using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Proficient in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Experience with Kibana and Elasticsearch
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on documentation
- Collaborative team player with the ability to take technical initiative when necessary
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new technologies and evaluate their usability.
- Provide end-to-end software development expertise and mentor software engineers.
- Coordinate and actively participate in the analysis, design, and development of Digiturk infrastructure applications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of the software infrastructure.
- Guide and support software teams building applications on the infrastructure and provide technical expertise on selected technologies.
- Design or oversee data architecture and application architecture for software solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and adapt innovations to organizational needs.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, ensuring compliance across development teams.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with strong time management skills.
