Summary
The Finance Systems Analyst owns business-critical finance applications at Arrow Global — initially Stavpay (accounts payable/invoicing) and Kyriba (treasury) — acting as Product/System Owner in Manchester. Day to day this means managing roadmaps, releases, UAT, integrations, incidents and vendors, while ensuring finance apps are secure, controlled and fit for purpose.
We’re looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to take ownership of business critical applications supporting our Fund Operations and Finance teams.
Initially, you’ll be the internal Product Owner and System Owner for Stavpay (accounts payable and invoice management) and Kyriba (treasury management), with the opportunity to take ownership of additional Finance and Fund Operations applications as our technology landscape develops.
This is a hand on role where you’ll combine your accountancy background and passion for systems to drive our applications to be reliable, secure, appropriately controlled and fit for purpose whilst striving for their continued development.
- Own the performance, service, controls and ongoing development of key Finance applications.
- Manage application roadmaps, enhancements and priorities, balancing business needs, risk and cost.
- Work closely with Finance, Fund Operations, Treasury and Technology to understand requirements and deliver improvements.
- Act as a key escalation point for application issues, working with our IT Service Desk, Application Support teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and problems.
- Manage application changes, releases and UAT, ensuring appropriate testing and governance is in place.
- Monitor critical processes, integrations and automated jobs and coordinate the resolution of failures.
- Ensure applications have appropriate access controls, segregation of duties, audit trails and governance.
You’ll have strong experience managing business-critical Finance applications or systems, ideally within a complex organisation, with a good understanding of Finance processes and controls.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong practical Finance knowledge, particularly accounts payable, treasury, cash management and financial controls.
- Experience owning, administering or managing Finance or operational applications.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS / third-party applications, including configuration and administration.
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem and change management.
- Experience working within formal IT service management and change governance/CAB frameworks.
- Experience managing third-party technology vendors and driving them to deliver outcomes.
- Experience managing application releases, UAT and integrations.
- A good understanding of application access, risk, controls and governance.
