Apex Group Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Systems Specialist to join the Finance Systems team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, maintaining and developing the Group's Treasury Management and Finance Systems landscape, with a primary focus on Kyriba, Workday, banking integrations and treasury-related processes.
This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of treasury operations and systems who can act as a supporting bridge between Treasury, Finance and IT. The successful candidate will work proactively and independently while supporting a global user base and contributing to strategic system enhancements, process improvements and transformation initiatives.
Job Specification
- Provide application support, administration and configuration assistance for the Group's Treasury Management System (Kyriba), Workday Finance and associated banking and payment platforms.
- Support the maintenance of bank account records across Treasury and ERP systems, helping to ensure data consistency and compliance with established governance processes.
- Support the onboarding, setup and closure of bank accounts within Treasury and Finance systems, working closely with Treasury and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining treasury system integrations and connectivity between Kyriba, Workday, SWIFT providers, SFTP channels and other connected platforms.
- Help monitor, investigate and escalate issues relating to bank statement integrations, MT940 reporting, payment connectivity, interface failures and other system exceptions.
- Work collaboratively with Treasury, Finance, IT and third-party vendors to resolve user queries and support operational activities.
- Coordinate and support testing activities for system enhancements, upgrades, releases and project implementations.
- Support Treasury and Finance transformation initiatives by contributing to system improvements, automation opportunities and process efficiencies.
- Assist in maintaining system controls, data quality and governance standards across treasury-related applications.
- Maintain process documentation, user guides and knowledge articles to support operational continuity and user adoption.
Skills Required
- Experience with Kyriba, Workday Finance or similar systems.
- Experience supporting Finance, Treasury or ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Understanding of finance or treasury processes, including bank account management, payments and bank reconciliations.
- Exposure to banking connectivity and integrations, such as MT940, SWIFT or SFTP, would be beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting system testing, upgrades or process improvements.
- Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Professional finance or treasury qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
