Finance Transformation & Reporting Analyst

Fortegra is seeking a motivated Finance Transformation and Reporting Analyst to support enterprise-level financial reporting, data accuracy, and process improvement initiatives. This role is well suited for an early-career finance or accounting professional, including candidates with one to two years of public accounting experience, who is eager to learn how financial data, reporting processes, and cross-functional business teams work together across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, analytics, or related field.

1–3 years in financial reporting, FP&A, public accounting, or finance transformation.

Insurance industry experience and Korean language skills are a plus.
- CPA eligibility, CPA exam progress, or interest in pursuing CPA certification preferred.
Primary Job Functions:
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports for executive leadership and the parent company.
- Support reporting activities involving GAAP, Statutory, IFRS, and K-ICS frameworks, with guidance from Finance and Accounting leadership.
- Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Improve reporting processes, automate recurring deliverables, and strengthen financial controls.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Premium Operations, and Actuarial teams to meet reporting needs.
- Document reporting processes, data definitions, and validation rules; support audit requirements.

Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to organize data, identify issues, and solve problems with attention to detail.
- Foundational understanding of financial analysis, reconciliations, and data validation, with a willingness to deepen these skills through hands-on reporting work.
- Proficiency in Excel required; experience with Oracle Financials, financial datasets, Power BI, Oracle OAC, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
