We advise on accounting treatments, own the UKEF accounting policies and are working with others across the organisation and beyond to implement large scale changes in our accounting policy, systems, and processes in order to operationalise IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 for 2025-26 and future reporting.

It’s an exciting time to join us as we support a business that is at the heart of delivering government export and trade policy.. We are also in a unique period of transition as we implement IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 accounting standards for the first time. These standards cover how we account for all our front-line business, providing financial guarantees, loans and insurance.
