Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will partner with operations, department leaders, and senior management to analyze business performance, support financial planning, and identify opportunities to improve profitability. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to data accuracy, and the ability to turn complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight that supports EBITDA improvement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities & Success Factors
- Operational Reporting & KPI Analysis: Produce weekly production trackers and evaluate KPI's related to departmental headcount, labor utilization, extrusion press efficiency, and overall operational performance.
- Profitability & EBITDA Improvement: Analyze margins and cost drivers across value-added services, including wet paint, powder coating, fabrication, and anodizing. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve EBITDA targets. Enable the achievement of cost/lbs. target, conversion/lbs. target, and paint/powder profitability.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support annual budgeting, capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, projected financial statements, and a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Data Integrity & Process Improvement: Validate data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate, consistent reporting. Improve reporting tools and processes to strengthen financial visibility and decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a financial liasion between accounting, operations, and department leaders to connect operational performance with financial results and support business objectives
