What you'll do:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and cost analyses to support organizational and program decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets and conduct monthly actual-to-budget variance analyses
- Serve as a primary point of contact for program budgets, financial reporting, revenue invoicing, and funder-related fiscal inquiries
- Captures data and creates reports, including general ledger transactions, income statements, balance sheets, and trial balances.
- Prepares and submits revenue invoices monthly including supporting documentation.
- Coordinates and monitors accounts receivables aging and collection activities monthly.
- Inputs charges monthly into accounting software.
- Runs financial reports monthly and performs monthly actual to budget variance analysis.
- Creates and presents quarterly forecasts to AACI management to modify current year contract budgets.
- Creates budgets annually or as needed for new proposals to funders.
- Assists with month-end accounting close activities such as preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Identifies data entry errors and corrects.
- Provides annual audit assistance, gathers necessary account information and documents.
- Performs administrative duties such as scanning and organizing electronic financial documents.
- Completes other duties and related projects as assigned.
