Financial Analyst
Job Requirements:
Data Validation
- Request on a weekly basis Revenue Report, Balance Report and Applicant Report
- Validate the reports related to revenue, identify issues and communicate them back to the accounting team
- Keep track of the revenue reports and conduct analysis on them
- Validate monthly closing, identify issues, and communicate them back to the accounting team
- Follow up on the issues communicated
- Prepare, attend, minute and keep track of follow ups regarding data provided
Reporting
- AP and AR aging
- Actual vs Budget Report
- P&L per Faculty
- Applicant Presentation analysis
- Revenue presentation Analysis
- Financial Ratio Analysis
Budgeting
- Collaborate with different departments to create the initial budget
- Create the revenue Budget based on the number of students provided by the student service department as well as different model for different scenarios
- Keep track of all budgets submitted and the changes made to them
- Prepare budgeted income statement to be presented
- Participate in creating the Annual budget presentation that will be presented to the board.
Oracle
- Collaborated and supported with the ERP in the process of Oracle implementation (Discovery, Planning & Design)
- Created codes & account names for budget lines, cost centers & projects to be uploaded on the system by the ERP Team.
- Conducted testing concurrently of the uploaded budget and communicated Adjustments needed to the ERP Team.
- Extract and validate reports and communicate issues found
- Provide insight on the remaining budget variances to assist on PR approval
AD HOC Requests
- Ad hoc analyses as requested (Business Cases analyses – Board meeting – Management meeting – Proposals’ analysis - prepare presentation with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and creating visual content).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Investment OR any related degree.
- Years of Experience: 2-3 years
- Certificates: CFA,FMVA,CMA is a plus
- Skills: Attention to detail, Accuracy, Analytical, Organizational, Collaboration, Time Management.
