Formulates, defends, and executes assigned one-year and multi-year Appropriated Program's annual budget. Closely monitors commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure optimal use of funds and full compliance

Ensures receipt of program and budget guidance from external authorities, assessing impact to assigned accounts, and coordinating budget requirements across the enterprise

Monitors, analyzes and articulates the financial performance relative to the available funding authority

Summarizes and analyzes the financial data from the proprietary and budgetary accounts to satisfy internal management needs and external mandatory and legislative requirements

Analyzes the top-down budget guidance presented to subordinate organizations

Coordinates the development and execution of budgets for the appropriate Headquarters organizations

Ensures the consolidated budget supports DLA’s strategic plan and overall vision
