Overview

The Corporate Treasury Team is looking to add a financial analyst for loan and deposit pricing analysis. To be effective in this high visibility role, the analyst must be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communications skills, and have a strong work ethic.

Top candidates must be able to demonstrate history of:

  • Constructing well controlled, governed, and documented processes for analysis, data management, and reporting

  • Summarizing key findings and preparing succinct presentations for executives

  • Meeting deadlines while independently taking initiative to drive complex projects to completion

Key Responsibilities

Analysts on the Pricing Team are responsible for executing and cross-training across a variety of responsibilities such as:

  • Assist with the analysis, implementation, and reporting of pricing strategies for deposits, loans, and credit cards

  • Update and develop reports and dashboards used to track the results of pricing strategies, rate management effectiveness, and competitive environment

  • Work closely with the Pricing Team Leaders, the Product Management Team, and other teams to help develop and implement pricing and product strategies designed to meet the Company’s strategic goals

  • Respond to banker questions regarding product rates, offered promotions, account inquiries, etc. primarily through the Pricing Team's mailbox

  • Develops sound understanding of the data and analytics, concepts, methodologies, and key assumptions used within the Pricing Team

  • Partner with risk management, internal audit, and others to ensure processes and procedures are appropriate, executed, and follow Company and regulatory guidelines

  • Assisting other teams in the Corporate Treasury department on ad-hoc projects, including executive-level reports covering loan and deposit pricing

Qualifications Include

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree and/or certification such as CFA or CPA preferred

  • 3-5 years experience in the banking industry (Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, or Product team) preferred; open to training experienced professionals with transferable skills

  • Ability to generate high-quality work product with strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form

  • Team orientated and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to self-identify process gaps and weaknesses

  • Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills to manage responsibilities described above

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required with Power BI, Visio, and VBA a plus.

  • Experience with database reporting and programming tools such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
