Hybrid role – commutable to Turriff, Aberdeenshire (2-3 days office based)

Full Time – Monday to Friday 8-5pm

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful business insights?

Harbro is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, forecasting and operational performance across the Group. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing analysis and management information that helps drive strategic decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and develop management information for multiple revenue streams across the business.
  • Produce monthly financial costings and management information for our manufacturing and operational sites.
  • Lead the finance element of monthly operational costing meetings, providing financial insight and challenge to site managers.
  • Work closely with Revenue Stream Directors and Heads of Department to analyse and understand P&L performance, balance sheets and cash flow movements.
  • Support the preparation and development of monthly Management Information Packs and reporting packs.
  • Provide detailed sales analysis, reporting and KPI monitoring to support business performance.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the Group.
  • Support the financial evaluation of projects, investments and potential acquisitions.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting systems, particularly Power BI and business intelligence reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help drive better ways of working across the finance function.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
  • Strong IT and systems capability, with a keen interest in technology and reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret financial information and communicate insights clearly
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism and accountability

Desirable

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant, or actively working towards a professional qualification
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting tools or business intelligence platforms
  • Previous experience within a finance, management accounting, FP&A or analyst role
