The Financial Analyst is responsible for a blend of financial reporting, analysis, and store performance projection development. He/She is responsible for independently building financial reports and assisting with ad hoc requests as needed. He/She must be detail oriented and have critical thinking skills.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance
- Complete ad hoc requests as needed by using and manipulating data in the financial systems
- Develops by store, by department, by account P&L Projections on a quarterly basis
- Complete routine financial reporting accurately and efficiently
- Work in a collaborative team environment with various cross-functional areas
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years related experience
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance
- Excellent computer and analytical skills
- Computer skills including Excel, Access, Oracle EPM, OBIEE, and CSF (all of some preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborator and works well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels across the organization
- Must be sharp, deadline focused, and motivated with excellent communication skills
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
