Financial Analyst, Reverse Logistics Finance
Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key member in our Devices Finance Reverse Logistics team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Reverse Logistics business in a role where you will have regular interaction with executives and product lines across the organization.
Be the finance support for the Reverse Logistics Operations team which has grown from four product lines to newly acquired Amazon businesses. Partnering with the business leaders across product lines, you will work closely with business and finance teams to create financial models and repair cost forecasts to support Reverse Logistics Operations decision making.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, data collection and modeling capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
The role also requires regular interaction with various business teams, providing reporting and business support for decision making and ability to influence decisions through logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives/scenarios.
Key job responsibilities
-Build forecasting models for returned units and warranty expense across product lines.
-Develop break-even models to support end-of-repair decision-making for the Reverse Logistics Operations team.
-Coordinate and own the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
-Build models and metrics, and prepare commentary for Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
-Design scalable financial processes that grow with the business.
-Partner with the Business Intelligence Engineering (BIE) team to drive continuous improvement of an internally built financial dashboard.
-Audit dashboard data regularly to ensure accuracy and integrity.
