The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing financial performance related to operating expenses, budget management, absorption, production order variances and scrap. This role provides accurate and timely financial insights that support decision‑making, cost control, and operational efficiency across the organization
Responsibilities
- Track scrap levels, calculate financial impact, and generate scrap performance reports.
- Prepare dashboards and financial reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support internal/external audits.
- Analyze root causes of significant variances and prepare concise variance explanations for all production orders.
- Monitor and analyze OPEX and CAPEX spending by department and cost center.
- Perform variance analysis and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
- Support annual budget (AOP) preparation and rolling forecast.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to reduce scrap and improve financial results.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- English fluency (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, critical thinking.
- Power BI & Excel Macros
- Experience with Hyperion (preferred).
- Copilot (preferred)
- Familiarity with production processes (preferred).
