Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for producing, gathering, formatting, and reporting financial information. It supports productivity, statistical reporting, decision-support analysis, and ad hoc reporting of financial data. The position prepares a wide range of ad hoc reports and documents using multiple software tools to assist staff and management with decision-making.
- Prepares a wide range of ad hoc reports and supporting documentation using multiple applications such as EPIC, Excel, and other decision support software.
- Creates analyses to meet specific requests from management and other departments.
- Serves as system administrator for bench marking and staffing/ productivity applications.
- Improves reporting efficiency and contributes to FP&A workflow enhancements.
- Works closely with accounting and reimbursement departments to ensure alignment of financial data.
- Communicates effectively to clarify requirements and support accurate financial reporting outcomes.
- Meets departmental deadlines and manages competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a related financial position preferably a hospital setting. High level of literacy with computers, including prior experiences importing & exporting data files. Demonstrates abilities using Microsoft Excel at advanced level.
