Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, analytically-minded Financial Analyst to lead the management of technology costs including budgeting, cost performance monitoring, forecasting, and developing cost optimization solutions. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in financial analysis and technology cost management (FinOps) who wants to play an active role in improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the FinOps vision and strategy
• Initiate cost optimization efforts to maximize value and minimize waste
• Implement FinOps practices across budgeting, forecasting, and cost accountability
• Collaborate closely with tech, business, and finance teams to ensure accurate and correct allocation of technology costs
• Build transparent cost reporting and effectively monitor actuals
• Identify optimization opportunities based on data analysis
• Lead regular cost reviews and help build a culture of shared responsibility
• Provide financial consulting related to technology costs
• Work closely with procurement and settlements teams to ensure costs are recorded correctly
• Budget technology costs across the bank
• Generate various required reports within the scope of technology costs
• Ensure the efficiency of technology spend
• Advise structural units on tech cost/procurement processes
• Stay appropriately involved in the management processes of technology intangible assets

Requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, (knowledge of FinOps is a bonus)
• Experience managing technology costs (cloud/IT cost)
• Strong Excel skills, with experience using data analysis and reporting tools (PowerBI)
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Willingness to learn and work with AI tools and modern technologies
• English language C1
