Financial and ESG Analyst
The Financial and ESG Analyst supports internal and external reporting, turning raw data into actionable insights to drive business improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-motivated, and capable of identifying opportunities for operational efficiency. This dual-role also dedicates approximately 50% of time to supporting Pure Flavor’s sustainability (ESG) initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of programs, policies, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business
Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment, shape analytical direction and provide recommendations to the business.
Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes.
Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base.
Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for them to make more informed management decisions.
Reporting to financial and government agencies.
Participate in the development of the company’s ESG strategy and implementation.
Contribute to the development and publication of ESG reports including collecting data, metrics, and consolidating information requests.
Collaborate with key internal teams on relevant data and target setting.
Develop KPIs and targets and oversee the collection of performance data and monitor progress.
Advise on and develop ESG standards, principles, and policies.
Conduct benchmarking and market research, follow trends, and provide best practices for ESG disclosures while identifying gaps and presenting solutions.
Develop and maintain tools and mechanisms to evaluate, track and report on progress against company ESG goals.
Coordinating the environment and social initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements of the Pure Flavor locations.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business Administration, required.
Proficiency in MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (required).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is imperative.
Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Experience with ERP Software is considered an
Experience with Power BI and/or creating dashboards is considered an asset.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge; recommend and implement best practices.
Analytical thinker: able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to offer ideas and concepts to various stakeholders, internal and external.
Work Environment:

Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a salary range of $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 CAD annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition, Pure Flavor provides a competitive total rewards package that includes company-paid benefits, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
