About your Role
In this role, you will join the Finance Department, a logic-driven and business-oriented group dedicated to enabling sustainable global growth through financial visibility and operational discipline. As part of the Financial Controller (Budget & Cost Control) function, your primary focus will be on owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis across multiple entities within the group. Your biggest challenge will be transforming large-scale financial data into actionable business insights that support strategic planning, profitability optimisation, and operational efficiency in a fast-evolving Fintech environment. Your work will directly contribute to Weltrade’s mission of building a scalable, financially resilient global trading ecosystem. We are seeking a self-sufficient specialist who is comfortable navigating complexity, structuring financial processes, and operating with a high level of ownership in an autonomous, remote-first environment.
You Have
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting within a multi-entity or international business environment.
- Strong expertise in variance analysis, rolling forecasts, profitability analysis, and financial modelling to support strategic business decision-making.
- Solid understanding of cash flow planning, expense control, and operational financial management processes.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large financial datasets; experience with BI, ERP, or reporting tools is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into structured, actionable insights for business stakeholders and leadership teams.
Good to Have
- Previous experience within Fintech, Forex, brokerage, or online trading environments.
- Exposure to financial process optimisation or automation initiatives, including workflow improvement and reporting standardisation.
- Experience collaborating in a remote-first, cross-functional environment with distributed international stakeholders.
