Responsibilities:
- Lead
the overall financial management and strategic planning of the
organization.
- Oversee
accounting and finance operations, including cash flow management,
investments, asset optimization, financing strategies, budgeting, and
forecasting.
- Ensure
timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, regulatory
submissions, and management reports.
- Establish
and maintain robust internal controls and compliance procedures.
- Liaise
with regulatory authorities such as Bank Negara Malaysia and other
agencies to ensure full compliance and timely reporting.
- Provide
technical and strategic advice to business leaders on accounting,
financial, regulatory, and management matters.
- Foster
a high‑performance finance team through effective leadership,
communication, and continuous development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in
the general insurance industry.
- Professional
qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong
understanding of accounting standards, reporting requirements, and
regulatory frameworks within financial services.
- Excellent
communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to influence and support
key decision‑makers.
- Demonstrated
commitment to high‑quality work and continuous improvement.
- Proven
leadership capabilities and ability to drive team performance.
