We’re growing our team and looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join us in Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys being more than just a number-cruncher. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the finance function, improve processes, provide meaningful commercial insight and work directly with business owners and senior leaders.
As the business continues to grow, you’ll play a key role in building strong financial foundations and helping turn financial information into better business decisions.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of the finance function and become a trusted partner to the wider business.
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Leading cashflow forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong ledger integrity
Reviewing and strengthening financial controls, processes and systems
Providing senior stakeholders with clear commercial and operational insight
Managing and supporting a small finance team
Helping identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow and financial performance
Systems experience: Xero is essential, with knowledge of Sage 50 or QuickBooks beneficial.
The Opportunity
£35 per hour
2–3 days per week
On-site across client locations in Liverpool
Work directly with business owners and senior leaders
