Financial Controller - Norway

You manage financial control for a large-scale data center by tracking CAPEX and OPEX, supporting budgeting and forecasting, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, auditing suppliers, ensuring Norwegian accounting and VAT compliance, and analyzing cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track CAPEX and OPEX
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with supplier financial audits and forensic investigations
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian accounting standards and VAT reporting
• Monitor and analyze cost drivers
• Provide financial insights for operational and investment decisions
• Work with procurement, project, and operations teams

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Power Office, SAP, Oracle, or Visma
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, and project-based environments
• Familiarity with Norwegian accounting regulations and tax requirements
• Experience in data centers, energy, or construction projects
• Understanding of cost drivers in large-scale projects and operations
