Role Overview
We are looking for a Financial Controller to own and strengthen the financial controllership function
for the business. The role will be responsible for month-end closure, financial reporting, accounting
controls, audit management and ensuring accuracy and integrity of the financial statements.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in R2R, financial reporting, accounting,

month-end closing and internal controls, with the ability to work closely with business and cross-
functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
 Own the end-to-end R2R and month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate closure
of books.
 Review GL, trial balance, provisions, accruals, reconciliations and journal entries.
 Prepare and review monthly financial statements, P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow
statements.
 Ensure compliance with Ind AS, accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.

 Drive financial reporting and provide accurate MIS and management reports to leadership.
 Manage statutory, internal and tax audits, including coordination with auditors and timely
closure of audit observations.
 Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting processes and SOPs.
 Partner with business, commercial, supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate
financial accounting and reporting.
 Monitor working capital, receivables, payables and cash flow and highlight key financial risks.
 Review inventory accounting, COGS, provisions and other key balance sheet items.
 Support consolidation and reporting across entities/business units, wherever required.
 Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and finance transformation.
 Work closely with senior leadership on financial analysis, business performance and
accounting matters.
What We're Looking For
 CA / CMA with 4–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
 Strong experience in financial controllership, R2R, accounting and financial reporting.
 Hands-on experience with month-end/year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
 Good understanding of Ind AS and accounting principles.
 Experience managing statutory/internal audits and financial controls.
 Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, GL, reconciliations, provisions and accruals.
 Exposure to inventory, costing, COGS and working capital will be an advantage.
 Experience with SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel.
 Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, consumer, retail or manufacturing is preferred.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
 Ability to work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced business environment.
Preferred Experience
Candidates from FMCG, consumer brands, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing or other high-growth
businesses with strong controllership exposure would be preferred.
