Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Client Assessment and Consultation:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations, including income, expenses, debts, and insurance coverage.
    • Provide personalized financial counseling to clients based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Financial Planning and Advice:
    • Develop and implement financial plans to help clients manage their medical expenses and other financial responsibilities.
    • Advise clients on budgeting, debt management, and financial strategies to improve their financial stability.
  • Insurance and Benefits Guidance:
    • Assist clients in understanding their health insurance benefits, including coverage limits, exclusions, and claims processes.
    • Help clients explore options for additional financial assistance, including government programs and charitable resources.
  • Document and Record Management:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, financial assessments, and plans.
    • Prepare and review financial documents, including promissory notes, payment agreements, and insurance claims.
  • Education and Outreach:
    • Educate clients on financial literacy topics, including managing medical bills, understanding insurance policies, and building a budget.
    • Conduct workshops or seminars on financial counseling topics as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to address clients' financial needs.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations and empathetic support.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to financial counseling and client data management.
