Financial Due Diligence Manager (CA) (Hybrid)
Requirments;
- CA(SA), CFA, MBA, or a Master's in Finance (or similar)
- 3–5 years' post-articles corporate finance experience
- Current hands-on experience in transaction/financial due diligence at manager level
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Solid grasp of IFRS and financial statement analysis
- Commercial instinct — you understand deals, not just spreadsheets
- Sharp writing and presentation skills; you can explain "why it matters," not just "what the number is"
- A steady head under pressure and a genuine curiosity about business and strategy
Role details:
- Leading due diligence engagements across a range of industries — for corporates, private equity funds and lenders
- Getting hands-on with earnings quality, working capital, cash flow, and net debt analysis
- Managing information flow between stakeholders and keeping projects on track
- Translating complex financial findings into clear, confident write-ups and client presentations
- Contributing to proposals and pitches for new deal work
- Occasionally supporting valuation and JSE advisory assignments
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients — not just ticking boxes
If you like puzzles, high-stakes projects, and being the person in the room who actually understands what's driving a deal, this is built for you. You'll work on live transactions with real commercial impact — not theoretical case studies.
We're looking for an experienced Financial Due Diligence Manager to join a busy deals team, focused primarily on financial due diligence, with exposure to valuations and JSE advisory work along the way. You'll be the financial detective sitting between the numbers and the negotiating table — digging into earnings, cash flow, debt and working capital to uncover the risks and value drivers that matter most to a transaction.
