FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number D2515P01, D2514P01 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.

As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0501-07/09, you will perform duties such as: GS: 07- Performs recurring developmental assignments. Independently performs recurring assignments of limited, but gradually increasing, difficulty and complexity. The incumbent is responsible for locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines and procedures for application, and making minor deviations to adapt the guidelines to specific cases. Other duties as assigned. GS: 09- Processes data and performs broad-in-depth financial analysis of interrelated accounting, military and civilian pay, accounts payable and receivable, and various travel entitlements to resolve especially difficult and sensitive, out-of-balance conditions associated with processing actions within Financial Management systems. Analyzes and evaluates data to conduct a variety of fiscal reconciliations, reviews, and account adjustments. Reconciles Resource Center Manager (RCM) accounts ensuring data integrity. Coordinates with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and posts validated accounts to the General Ledger. Other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.
