Performs random reviews of disbursements for assigned programs with Travel Pay as the primary focus.

Organizes, collects, analyzes and presents a variety of data, information, and statistics related to financial programs and projects based on reviews of the Travel Pay program.

Analyzes and evaluates financial management systems, public laws, governing policies, guidelines, rules, regulations, and precedents related to the Travel Pay program.

Identifies trends and works with office management to develop proper corrective actions related to the Travel Pay program.

Researches and identifies problems, determines corrective actions as needed and recommends changes to procedures and practices related to the Travel Pay program.

The duties, described above, represent the major duties performed at the GS-9 level. The duties performed for developmental positions will be of limited scope and complexity to develop skills, proficiency, and work experience.
