Financial Management Analyst

About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Resource Management Directorate, J-8, and it is located in Falls Church, Virginia. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Leave accrual negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to the Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Ensure enterprise-level management controls governing financial transactions and reporting operate effectively across the Defense Health Program (DHP) and Medicare-Eligible Retiree Health Care Fund (MERHCF).

Coordinate with financial reporting components to ensure required audit trail exists per required regulations and Defense Health Agency (DHA) guidance.

Develop and implement DHA-wide financial management policies, internal control frameworks, and governance standards impacting enterprise operations.

Direct enterprise financial systems integration, ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards and resolving systemic deficiencies impacting auditability.

Evaluate DHA progress and assertion status as it related to financial systems.
