About the Opportunity

Claire’s is looking for an analytical, business-minded student to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship provides an opportunity to learn how financial information is used to evaluate performance, support planning, and help leaders make informed business decisions.

As an FP&A Intern, you’ll gain exposure to financial analysis and reporting within a fast-paced retail organization.

What You’ll Get to Experience

Depending on business priorities and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to:

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.

• Analyze actual business performance against plans or forecasts.

• Help identify and research financial trends and variances.

• Assist with recurring reports, presentations, and financial models.

• Gain exposure to key retail and financial performance metrics.

• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional business partners.

• Support special projects and evolving business priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Interest in corporate finance, financial planning, and business performance.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills or a desire to develop advanced Excel capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate financial information clearly.

• Organized, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.
