Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
About us
Acusensus pioneers intelligent road safety enforcement solutions that can be rapidly deployed to address road safety challenges. Our mission is changing behaviours, saving lives. We provide advanced AI and hardware technology deployed as fixed-location, trailer-based, and vehicle-based enforcement solutions, used by governments across Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand. Since our founding in 2018, we've grown from an Australian tech success story into a genuinely global business, listing on the ASX in January 2023. We're a team that believes big challenges are best solved together, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of integrity, care and delivery in everything we do.
About the role
You'll be the financial backbone connecting the numbers to the business. Reporting to the CFO you'll be involved in month-end close, driving budgeting and forecasting, and making sure every part of the organisation understands its financial performance. You'll enjoy working solo and owning FP&A end-to-end without a broader team around you.
What you'll do:
- Support the month-end financial close process alongside the wider finance team
- Lead monthly financial reporting to the business, and reporting to the Board and ELT
- Own the internal budgeting and forecasting process and its supporting deliverables
- Review financial results for commercial accuracy and lead internal program reporting
- Partner with departments across the business to improve operational efficiency
- Support external reporting, including results presentations and investor materials
- Recommend and implement process and AI-driven improvements to data flow and integrity
- Provide financial support for commercial deals, tenders and growth initiatives led by the CFO
A note on the role: given our global operations, some early mornings or evenings may be needed to support the business.

Benefits
Why Join Us
Real influence on the numbers that matter: You'll lead Board and ELT reporting, own the budgeting and forecasting cycle, and be the financial voice the business turns to for decisions. This isn't a back-office reporting role, it's a seat at the table.
Global growth, hands-on impact: Acusensus is scaling across Australia, the US, UK and New Zealand, and you'll directly support commercial deals, tenders and growth initiatives that shape where the company goes next.
Room to modernise how finance works: You'll have the mandate to recommend and implement process improvements including AI-driven projects to lift data integrity and efficiency, not just maintain the status quo.
