# Financial Planning & Reporting Manager ## Company Overview To be provided. ## Job Summary The **Financial Planning & Reporting Manager** plays a crucial role in leading the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within the Finance Department. This position is instrumental in developing and managing the organization's financial goals and forecasts while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and improve financial performance. ## Responsibilities - **Financial Planning**: - Lead the **annual budgeting process** with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial goals. - Develop **medium to long-term financial forecasts** aligned with organizational objectives. - Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations to senior leadership. - **Reporting & Analysis**: - Prepare **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports**, including variance analysis and commentary. - Deliver insightful management reporting to track performance against key financial metrics. - Oversee preparation of **financial statements** in compliance with Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards) or relevant accounting standards. - **Financial Statements - IND AS, Statutory & Internal Audits, Reconciliation**: - Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements, including **Balance Sheet**, **Statement of Profit & Loss**, and notes to accounts as per Schedule III of Companies Act 2013. - Execute timely **statutory and internal audits**, facilitating efficient data provision in accordance with accounting standards. - **Risk Control Matrix Preparation, Process Walkthroughs and Improvement**: - Develop and maintain a **Risk Control Matrix** for Internal Financial Control concerning financial reporting. - Review key processes including fixed assets, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), investments, loans, and advances. - Assist in **evaluating new processes, policies, and systems** to ensure their relevance and effective control design based on identified risks. ## Qualifications - **Educational Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred. - **Key Technical Skills**: - Strong understanding of **financial reporting standards** and regulations. - Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting processes. - Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. - **Soft Skills**: - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with senior leadership and other departments. - Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively. ## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with ERP systems and financial management software. - Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local tax regulations. - Experience in risk management and internal control. ## Experience - Minimum of **5 years** of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or a related field, ideally within a corporate finance environment. ## Environment - This position is located at the **Corporate Office in Gurgaon**.
