Financial Reconciliation & Payments Implementation Specialist

Role Details:
- Location: 100% remote work model; candidates must reside in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
- Contract: Indefinite service contract.
- Visa Requirement: Valid visa with at least 2 years of remaining validity from November 2026.
- Language: English C1 proficiency is mandatory.

Role Overview:
- We are looking for a Financial Reconciliation & Payments Implementation Specialist with approximately 3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in banking, fintech, payment processing, acquiring, or financial technology companies.
- You will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement and optimize financial reconciliation processes, payment integrations, and automated financial workflows using a No-Code/Low-Code platform.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years in banking, fintech, financial operations, financial analysis, payment processing, or financial reconciliation.

Technical Requirements:
- Financial Reconciliation: Proven experience with bank reconciliations, transaction reconciliations, financial movements, discrepancy analysis, and identifying root causes.
- Banking & Fintech: Experience in the banking or fintech industry is strongly preferred.
- Acquiring & Payment Processing: Understanding of payment transactions, acquirers, payment gateways, settlement processes, and financial flows.
- Excel: Intermediate to advanced proficiency is mandatory.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret financial data, and develop effective solutions.
- Client Communication: Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Autonomy: Ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:
- Experience implementing financial software, reconciliation platforms, or payment integrations.
- SQL knowledge and familiarity with database logic.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Visual Basic (VB).
- Experience in process automation and optimization.
- Previous experience in fintech companies, banking institutions, payment service providers, or technology startups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure financial reconciliation solutions using a No-Code/Low-Code platform.
- Analyze financial data, transaction flows, and reconciliation differences.
- Support integrations with payment gateways and financial systems.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation and support post-implementation stabilization.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize financial processes.
