Senior .NET developer builds and maintains WPF user interfaces and custom controls for a global insurance broker’s enterprise software using C# and .NET Framework.

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior .NET (WPF) Developer in Ukraine or Poland.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is one of the largest British-American insurance brokers globally, specializing in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience with WPF development
  • 3.5+ years of experience with C# development
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework
  • Ability to develop new and update existing WPF UI
  • Experience fixing, extending, and developing custom WPF controls
  • Good understanding of multithreaded programming
  • Ability to understand, debug, and modify existing code
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to handle multitasking activities
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and Visual Studio
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • Basic knowledge of C++
  • TCP Sockets programming

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new functionality and maintain existing features
  • Participate in both new development and support activities (approximately 50/50)
  • Design, develop, and enhance WPF user interfaces
  • Create and extend custom WPF controls
  • Investigate and resolve software defects
  • Analyze and modify existing codebase
  • Collaborate with a mature team to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in daily communication with the customer team
  • Contribute to maintaining a worldwide enterprise-level product
