Financial Statement Reporting
Description
Master Works is seeking a financial reporting specialist / accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Main roles & responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare profit & loss (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and company policies
- Assist in financial analysis and reporting to management
- Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
