Financial Systems Implementation Project Manager (Sage Intacct)

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Implementation Project Manager to lead our clients migration from Sage 200 to Sage Intacct.

• Pay: $100-$110+ depending on experience
• Location: Fully Remote (must be available to work CST hours)
• Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 15-20 hours per week
• Duration: Initial 6-month engagement
• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen currently working within the United States (no sponsorship available)
• Additional Details:
  • This role requires availability to participate in meetings with the implementation partner and internal stakeholders during core business hours (8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST).
  • Meeting schedules can be coordinated with the implementation partner, with the option to establish recurring morning or afternoon meeting blocks to provide consistency.
  • Outside of scheduled meetings, the candidate will have flexibility in managing their workload.

The Finance Systems Implementation Project Manager will partner with Technology, Finance, Operations, Account Services, and the implementation partner to manage the project from planning through go-live, including data migration, testing, change management, training, and adoption.

Finance Systems Implementation Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the Sage Intacct implementation from kickoff through stabilization.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, testing, data migration, and user adoption activities.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Account Services, and Technology teams to align business processes and system requirements.
• Manage implementation partners, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Support integration planning between Sage Intacct, ClickUp, and other business systems.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and drive issue resolution.

Finance Systems Implementation Project Manager Requirements:

• ERP or financial system implementation leadership experience.
• Agency, marketing, creative, or professional services industry experience.
• Experience integrating financial systems with project management or workflow platforms.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, job costing, utilization, and profitability reporting.
• Experience managing vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Finance Systems Implementation Project Manager Preferred Experience:

• Sage Intacct implementation experience.
• Sage 200, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP or financial system migration experience.
• Experience integrating Sage Intacct with ClickUp or similar platforms.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
