Finished Goods & Inventory Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY


The Logistics Coordinator is accountable for the overall leadership of the daily operations of internal deliveries, warehouse coordination, production packaging assistance, inventory management, and shipping as a vital part of our organization and team.


The Logistics Coordinator will handle any and all logistics surrounding Ratio’s distribution of product, from inventory to supervising Ratio’s vehicle fleet. They will work closely with the Sales Manager, Production Team, and Taproom General Manager.


The goal is to coordinate and oversee Ratio’s packaged product from the point of production through the point of sale at our taprooms, distributor, and small accounts.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


Production:

  • Coordinate and transport raw materials between breweries
  • Aid in production splits with brewhouse team based on sales trends and analysis
  • Arrange shipments and/or deliver finished products from both brewhouses to various storage locations
  • Run canning line with assistance of the production team.
  • Coordinate and assist with Preventative Maintenance on packaging equipment/vehicles
  • Assist production team with kegging as needed


Inventory Management:

  • Maintain inventory of all packaging materials (keg shells, cans, trays, etc)
  • Order packaging inventory as needed.
  • Maintain FIFO transfer of inventory
  • Coordinate shuttling and inventory rotation


Distribution and Delivery:

  • Help warehouse stage weekly order for our distributor pickup
  • Vehicle Prep and Maintenance
  • Manage delivery fleet (currently two vehicles)
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance are scheduled in a timely manner
  • Help Manage, track, and order all tap handles, tap handle stickers
  • Deliver/restock taproom orders from our warehouse weekly.
  • Deliver orders for small self distribution accounts as needed, typically on one day per week.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 yrs old
  • Clean driving record
  • Knowledge of EKOS (or similar) brewery management software preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Canning line experience preferred but not required
  • Some mechanical experience preferred
  • Experience with strategic planning, verbal communication, customer focus
  • Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and resourcefulness with sound business acumen to contribute to a positive, collaborative culture
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities at one time
  • Core Business Hours: Monday – Friday

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to move and/or lift up to 175lbs


COMPENSATION RANGE

This is a full time salaried position. Compensation $45,000-$55,000/yr pending experience and includes employer sponsored Health and Dental Insurance, 12 Days of PTO for Year 1 and 15 Days of PTO for Year 2 plus 10 Company Holidays and a Beer Allotment.
