Job Summary: The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing activities on-site for a hospital project. This includes ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project specifications, and compliance with healthcare facility standards, timelines, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise day-to-day finishing works including: o Plastering, painting, tiling, gypsum works, ceilings, joinery, flooring, and façade finishes • Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements • Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of services within finishing works • Monitor and control workforce productivity, material usage, and work progress • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained, especially for hospital-grade finishes • Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations and hospital/healthcare standards (e.g., hygiene, infection control requirements) • Identify and resolve site issues, including clashes and rework requirements • Ensure proper handling and storage of finishing materials to avoid damage and wastage • Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, snagging, and handover processes • Maintain site safety standards and ensure workers follow HSE policies • Prepare daily progress reports and update supervisors on work status

Requirements: • Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in finishing works, with at least 2–3 years in hospital or healthcare projects in the UAE/GCC • Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards • Experience in handling subcontractors and site labor teams • Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and BOQs • Good coordination skills with MEP and other disciplines • Knowledge of infection control standards and clean room finishing is an advantage • Basic English communication skills (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus) • Knowledge of safety regulations (HSE compliance) Working Conditions: • Site-based role (hospital construction project) • May require extended working hours to meet project deadlines
