FinOps Lead

Summary: The FinOps Lead will play a crucial role in shaping the AI strategy, ensuring operational governance and maximizing the value of AI investments while maintaining controls and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the FinOps strategy for AI consumption across the organization.

• Develop governance frameworks for AI usage.

• Analyze AI usage across platforms utilizing Tokenomics capability.

• Partner with Technology teams to evaluate AI infrastructure costs.

• Assess the commercial effectiveness of AI use cases.

• Offer recommendations on build vs buy and automation.

• Support AI adoption strategies ensuring responsible and effective use.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define AI operating models.

• Establish reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for AI consumption.

• Drive discussions on AI investment decisions and optimization.

• Ensure controls for responsible use of Generative AI technologies.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in senior FinOps, Technology Finance, or Commercial Management roles.

• Understanding of cloud financial management and cost optimization.

• Experience within large, complex organizations.

• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

• Strong commercial acumen.

• Experience developing governance frameworks or financial controls.

• Excellent analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI or Generative AI programs.

• Understanding of AI consumption models.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms.

• Knowledge of AI governance and risk management principles.

• Experience implementing Cloud FinOps practices in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
